The Song of the Sorcelator: Swords and Sands
by Jose Vargas
One of many canon spin off SotS novels, Song of the Sorcelator: Swords and Sands concerns the radical adventures of the aptly named Grabthi Desert Knitting Club leader, The Marquis Des Rad. Notably, the novel also features an appearance by Blade of the Witchalok hero Arlon Bludd, wherein the badass sorcelator fights the Marquis to a draw in an exceptionally radical battle. The novel's author, Jose Vargas, was personally chosen by L H Franzibald himself to write Swords and Sands. The novel revealed many new pieces of information about the enigmatic club, such as their use of many Exdead operatives, their many high profile targets, and their totally off the chain nature.
Excerpts
"The Marquis Des Rad gasped in Extreme amazement as badass young Sorcelator Arlon Bludd deflected his Brightatronik sorcelation with the Wandhammer. "But... I took that sorcelation to the limit!" the Marquis exclaimed.
"To hang with me," Arlon replied in a daring and gritty (and Dangerous) manner, "not only will it need to be to the limit, it'll need to be totally off the hook."- The Song of the Sorcelator: Swords and Sands, Page 104
