Jagwarriors
One of the few non-mechanical beasts that still exists in large numbers the scarred desert landscape of Fehtahn. Jagwarriors are powerful and intelligent, yet their lack of anything resembling a society beyond nomadic packs consisting of up to ten individuals places them as Creatures rather than Races. It is said that an attack orchestrated by a pack of jagwarriors is one of the most awesome things one can witness if they are not the ones being attacked.
Jagwarriors resemble large cats, typically jet black with glowing golden-orange spots covering their bodies. Tall, stiff manes grow along the tops of their heads down their shoulders, the length and color of which can tell precisely how extreme the individual jagwarrior is. They possess sharp, retractable claws and retractable saber toothed fangs. They are capable of using Elementials to an extent, typically Crustarock and Gustallus, but older and more experienced members can use Fieriness, usually only in ways to enchance their already awesome hunting skills. It is said that their sense of smell is so acute that they can tell just how Extreme someone is with a single whiff.
Jagwarriors are opportunists and will easily eat whatever is available, and will not hesitate to attack a party of adventurers or a small, unprotected village. If attacked by a pack of these creatures, most experts say that the best course of action is to reflect on your life up to that moment, pray to whatever deity you may believe in, and then try and go down kicking as much ass as possible.
Jagwarriors are capable of speaking any of the languages of Fehtahn, but typically do not have much to say to thoe outside their own species. However, they are capable of negotiations and in many cases are willing to talk to or even befriend members of other species. Legend says that, in his youth, Grimm Shado, wandering the desert lost and alone, encountered a tribe of Jagwarriors who had finished a hearty meal. After some sweetass fight scenes, the eldest member of the tribe was able to sense the potential for Extreme in the young Sorcelator. The tribe then welcomed him, showed him towards his destination, forging a friendship between Shado and the Jagwarriors, and granting him the grandest title available to a non-Jagwarrior: "Person Who We Will Never Ever Eat". Other tales throughout the history of Fehtahn have been known to feature exiled Jagwarriors joining prominent Sorcelators in conquering foes.
