Hrraah
The Jagwarrior that plays the largest role in the Song. His name, roughly translated from the Jagwarrior's language, means "Bitch, I'll CUT you if you don't shut your goddamn mouth!" His mane is covered with Wicked spikes, his spots glow an even brighter orange than usual, indicating his Badassedness. At his introduction, he is only capable of using, to small degrees, the powers of Crustarock and Gustallus, but throughout his journeys with Grimm Shado, he becomes an adept user of Fieriness
Hrraah was singled out as the most Dangerous young cub in his tribe, to the point where the pack's alpha male felt threatened by his presence. In a mission quest given by that alpha, he was sent to kill a Megazebra and bring back the beast's carcass, a task considered suicidal even by the most badass of Jagwarriors. When Hrraah succeeded against all expectations, he was cast from the pack out of fear. Hrraah, upon his exile, declared loudly that he would create his own pack, and it would have Blackjack and Hookers, and he set off to do so.
Immediately following his exile, Hrraah ran into Grimm Shado, who was currently forced to make a tactical retreat from Grabthi Desert Knitting Club. Shado, having returned from slaying twenty other groups of similar strength, was visibly exhausted. When Hrraah was but a cub, Shado had entered into his packs' good graces, and, as such, he fended off the Knitting Club to allow the two of them to escape.
Throughout Tome 3, Grimm Shado was forced to confront hundreds of foes, and his friends were few and far between. Hrraah was the first character to join Shado in his quest to clear his name and/or kill everyone trying to collect on the bounty on his head, and of all the allies present in the book, Hrraah is the only one who stays along for the entire journey. Hrraah's fearsome appearance, surprising intelligence, and totally Dangerous fighting skills are such that he remains potentially the most valuable ally Grimm Shado has.
(Not to mention the fact that having a "pet" Jagwarrior is enough that a Buxom Fox Dancer will drop their panties in a heartbeat)
In the end, when Grimm is no longer a fugitive, and has found enough clues to begin to make a more serious search into his past, Hrraah leaves. His fate, and his future appearances in the later tomes, remain uncertain.
Despite playing a large role in the third tome, having an incredibly developed character, and being showcased in what some consider to be the most Extreme battles in the entire Sorcelator series, Hrraah is typically showcased very little in both official fan-based material. There is talk of Hrraah being used as a sidekick for Grimm Shado in the upcoming animated series, and official sources have been deliberately unclear as to the truth of these speculations. Anti-Hrraah Song fans have decried his presence as the shameless addition of a marketable talking animal, while his more aggressive fans tend to point out that any boldfaced marketing behind his appearances are forgiveable due to his inherent awesomeness.
Particularly, fans cite the time where, in an attempt to distract forces away from Grimm Shado, Hrraah single handedly infilitrated a Huge Steam Powered Vehicle the size of a skyscraper, killed everyone inside, then jumped out of the top floor just prior to the entire thing exploding, landing on all four paws afterwards.
And he did all of this while ON FIRE.
