Hizzle and Hallway
A well known serialized fan fiction following the (mis)adventures of two fans, referred to only as Hizzle and his companion Hallway. The two are Song "superfans" (the first story actually coins the term "Fanzibalds", which has since caught on for fans of L H Franzibald's writings) who pass in and out of a world not entirely dissimilar to our own but also pulling in story elements of The Song of the Sorcelator.
In the story, "Hizzle" is the quietly strategic where the one known as "Hallway" is more excitable and energetic. The two often hatch hairbrained schemes that usually involve following Franzibald's book tour to get another Extreme L H Franzibald autograph (the locales of the book tours are of course made much more Dangerous than their real life counterparts with the addition of swinging platforms suspended over lava filled volcanoes or strapped to the back of giant cyborg rampaging dinosaurs). All the while the pair discuss the finer points and mysteries of things such as Scoring and how "pimp" it would be to have two wands (interestingly, in one story Hizzle actually briefly aquires two wands, but no further references to this are made in later stories).
Written by two internet forum contributors known by their chatroom aliases as STRNGLHLD_2727 and Midgar_Haxxor, the works are widely read and regarded as a fun, albeit completely whimsical, look at fandom and the world of Fehtahn.
