Half-Twin
Half-Twins are the polar spiritual opposite twice removed of another living being. Half-Twins almost never share the same mother as their counterpart. Half-Twins are, as prefaced in Tome 1:
...comprised from the excess spiritual engergy and ether that is released when someone 'takes it to the limit'. These energies coagulate and solidify in the World Beyond Worlds until the Half-Twin is born, both strong and sweet looking. They are formidable adversaries for they are resistant to their counterpart's powers, and are thusly thought of as the consequence and penalty for limit taking.
Half-Twins are not to be confused with Nemesis (though they may often share the same goals) or Anti-Nemesis.
