Adj. - Gritty defines the unadulterated masculinity of dangerous or extreme characters. The feminine equvalent is smoking hot or fine-assed.

Gritty could equally apply to the jawline of a shadowy figure as it emerges from the cigar smoke of a speakeasy corner booth to confront wrongdoers, or the bleak and sandwhipped plotline of Tome 4.

It is so real and rugged that it casts doubt on the reality that exists outside The Song of the Sorcelator, and the presence of Gritty men will invariably cause a proportionate increase in the wetness of any Cyberpunk Wasteland Chicks in the immediate vicinity.
