Song of the Sorcelator: The Diamondallion of Time
This side-story comic shows us the most extreme exploits of Grimm Shado as he searches the West Sayeed Desert for the priceless Diamondallion of Time, a relic from the Bedarkened Ages which is rumoured to have off the hook Sorcelatory properties. But he's not alone in his search - both EX-Hotica and the Pirate Assassins and their Metal Friends are after the Diamondallion too, with mind-blowingly awesome results! Prepare for radical, badical full-colour conflict in 150 startling pages of white-knuckle action!
This side-story details Grimm Shado's exploits as a younger man, before the start of The Song and just after he has crafted his first magnabike. As well as showing how he first encountered the Pirate Assassins and their Metal Friends, it also details how EX-Hotica first noticed him and how he totally got with her. The book opens with a wide shot of Grimm, speeding down the West Sayeed canyons in search of the abandoned quarry where a clue to the Diamondallon's whereabouts is said to lie - and before long, he's breaking out his Hyperboard to speed bodaciously down a narrow, treacherous diamond mine in order to rescue (and subsequently score with) no less than fifteen Cyberpunk Wasteland Chicks. It only gets better from there, and the dramatic closing panel, showing Grimm's dark, Dangerous face - half in shadow, half illuminated by the fire of the recently torched robot cyberexplosion factory - as he resolves to go after the Pirate Assassins and find out whatever it is their shadowy, mysterious leader knows about his past is incredibly, hugely kickass.
