Captain von Badd
An exdead Laser Pirate who terrorizes the Laser Guitar Sea with his fleet of Hypercraft. While many exdead fear the water, Captain von Badd is far too extreme to have that weakness, and in fact bathes five times a day. In combat, von Badd makes extensive use of various Big Ass Guns, especially ones of the laser variety, but also the the occasional Bad Ass Blade. Despite his bad ass occupation and many previous off the hook acts of villainy, he actually has a heart of gold, along with a second heart of extreme.
Grimm Shado encounters Captain von Badd in Tome 3, when Grimm lands on von Badd's hypercraft after a sick magnabike jump. The two warriors take it to the limit, with Grimm Shado emerging victorious after he deflects von Badd's Big Ass Gun fire and dropkicks him off the Hypercraft. After this battle, the two become hesitant allies. In addition to his appearance in Tome 3, he also has minor appearances in The Diamondallion of Time and Blade of the Witchalok graphic novels.
