Akimbo

The legendary Akimbo was the first and greatest of the Gleaming Enchanted Pistol Lords. Born in the year 19 of the Eighth Eon, he was fated to become an Extreme Badass by fate.

At the tender age of sixteen, Akimbo determined to set out on a Dangerously Extreme quest to find one of the last remaining Sorcelator Imbuers in order that he could transform his already gleaming pistol into a Gleaming Enchanted Pistol. At length and after great hardship he succeeded in tracking down and confronting the Master Imbuer known as Doc Gat. Defeating him in a test of marksmanship, Doc Gat performed the Imbuing on his weapon. His sidearm became known as the first Gleaming Pistol, but it was not the last. Akimbo, now more Badass than ever, trudged into the wasteland and proclaimed himself the first Gleaming Enchanted Pistol Lord. He swore that he would safeguard the rights of Imbuing so that the world would not soon be overrun by Gleaming Enchanted Pistol Lords, and took Doc Gat with him out of his isolation.

For many years Lord Akimbo ruled firmly with Doc Gat as his friend and companion. Then the Jagwarrior tribes began raiding human lands, and Akimbo realized that alone he was not enough to stop them, Badass though he was. So Akimbo allowed any Sorcelator with a weapon to come before him and receive Doc Gat's gift of Imbuing, on the condition that those that did swear alleigance to him and agreed to do battle with the Jagwarriors. Many Sorcelators answered the call, and the campaign against the Jagwarriors began swiftly. A battle lasting ninety-nine days in which guns and claws were drawn in anger, later called the Battle of Guns and Claws, tore through the wasteland.

In the end, the Jagwarriors were beaten, and their tribes scattered. But the price of victory had been steep: Akimbo had been killed.
